What you get

Half a day of consultancy to go through the key areas of your business and review the most up-to-date research relating to your sector. You can also highlight any issues you feel may have either a positive or negative effect on the running of your business.

The main purpose of the session will be to share knowledge and gather information for the report you will get on your business within 7 days of the meeting.


The report will help you to understand

  • The key strengths and sustainable competitive advantages you have as a business
  • The products or services that are the most profitable and offer the best growth opportunities
  • The opportunities and threats that exist within your business and sector
  • The opportunities and threats that exist outside of your business in the wider environment
  • How you can best leverage your own strengths against your competitors
  • The target markets that are most likely to value (and pay for) what you offer
  • How your current sales & marketing performs in relation to delivering what your clients expect
  • What might be achievable in the coming year
  • How to continually review the progress you are making

What happens next?

Once you have the report you decide whether you want to implement all or some of the ideas yourself or you may want help from me in the form of either coaching or consultancy.

There is a good analogy that illustrates the difference between a coach and a consultant:

  • A coach will help you understand how and why you ride a bicycle, help you to determine what's holding you back from riding properly, and jog along next to you as YOU ride.
  • A business consultant will explain why one bike is superior to another, teach you how to ride the bike, and if necessary, ride the bike for you

Which one is best for you is based on your needs and values, as well your time constraints and deadlines. We often work with clients to provide a hybrid of these two methods.

If you decide to use us on either a coaching or consultancy basis for a minimum of three months, the fee will be reduced by the investment you made for the Business Audit.
